CLS 405

Introduction to Molecular Diagnostics

Online Course Materials

The following is the file list for CLS 405. The files are listed in the order in which they are used in the course. Click on a link to either view a file or save it to your local machine. All files are in either Microsoft Word® or Powerpoint® format. All course materials are ©2008 by Dr. Donna Sullivan or Dr. La’Toya Richards, except as otherwise noted.  Many of the Powerpoint® presentations are quite large.  Therefore, these course materials should be accessed via a broadband connection, such as cable modem, DSL, or network, and not though a dial-up connection.

Course Assignments and Procedures

Review the handout materials and reading assignments listed in the table below.

The due dates for each assignment are listed in the right-hand column.

The On-Line Examinations will be given in the SHRP student computer laboratory on the dates indicated.

A comprehensive examination will be given at the conclusion of the course covering the information presented in the on-line course materials.

Class meetings will be for the purpose of discussing information presented in the on-line materials, and for several laboratory exercises.

Many of the animations require either Flash® or Shockwave® Players.  Should any of the animations not display properly, the players may be downloaded by clicking one of these buttons:
